Match premade pouches or printed rollstock to the filling equipment, production stage, throughput needs, and packaging workflow.
Premade pouches simplify the package format
Premade pouches arrive as finished bags with the selected shape, seals, closure, and features already converted. They can fit manual, semi-automatic, or project-specific filling workflows and are useful when the package itself is part of the product presentation.
The project still needs a clear specification for dimensions, fill weight, seal area, zipper or valve, material structure, artwork, and how the pouch will be filled and handled.
Rollstock connects packaging to the machine
Rollstock is printed flexible film supplied in rolls for form-fill-seal equipment. The package specification must connect to the machine, including web width, repeat length, unwind direction, core, roll diameter, registration, sealing layers, and the product filling process.
Rollstock can be a strong fit when the operation is already set up for automated packing or is evaluating a move from premade bags to a machine-based workflow. Equipment compatibility should be confirmed before the film structure is finalized.

The most useful starting information is the current machine or pouch, product characteristics, target pack size, expected output, sealing requirements, and any registration or roll constraints. That context helps the packaging route stay practical from artwork through production.
